Ever since i saw this photo taken by
The Sartorialist, i wanted to have my own pair of espadrilles. I think this photo is just so cool, and i wanna be just like him. Then comes
TOMS (which is a more practical version because you don't have to worry about the sole during wet days), and i also want to have one. But i don't have enough money to buy a pair of toms, so just took my time. but as days goes by, a lot, really a lot of people are learning about the footwear brand, and i never fail to see them on peoples feet everyday (also espadrille which i think comes into 2nd place). That is why I'm starting to lose my interest on the famous footwears. But no! i need to have those shoes because its the trend. So I think of a way to be in fashion like the rest, but still looking unique.
That is why I've decide to create my own shoe. I've bought a plain espadrille flats that was on sale on
TOPMAN, took the canvas upper off, and crocheted a new one. Voila! My first ever shoes made by my own hands!
Still needs to have a decent photo of me, wearing my creation :p
